"To get some idea of
what a fashion designer or a clothing stylist is, we would have
to look at the definition of both. For me, a fashion designer is
the person who each season reflects social evolution through
clothing while a stylist is the person who interprets fashion by
creating a new look. In reality, both could be defined in one way
or another as fashion creators.
"As a fashion designer
and clothing stylist I try to reflect all that might inspire me
at the present time. I like to be, in both my designs and my
fashion styles, a mirror of the evolution that society is
undergoing nowadays, interpreting it with my elaborate style that
at times touches on minimalism.
"Clearly, when I design a
collection or a garment, besides bearing in mind what inspires me
and what appeals to me as a creator at that time, I try to listen
to people and to analyze in depth their desires, given that, when
all is said and done, they are the target market.
"When I work as a
personal stylist or for photo shoots, I broaden my horizons, thus
allowing myself to interpret all my clients require of me and to
create the desired look.
"Summing up, let’s
say that as a fashion designer and clothing stylist my main job
is not only to create fashion but also to create a
style."
